Homicide detectives are searching for a GMC or Chevrolet pickup truck that may have played a role in a homicide on March 2, 2024.

The truck is described as light-colored, with some discoloration on the passenger side of its extended cab. It also features black rims, oversized tires, and a loud exhaust system.

Around 5:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 2, 2024, deputies responded to a call of shots fired on the 3100 block of S. Indianola Ave. in Sanger. There they found 43-year-old Cesar Quezada of Sanger suffering from gunshot wounds. Deputies and EMS provided life-saving efforts, but Quezada died. He was inside an inoperable van parked on the property when he was shot. Detectives believe this was an isolated incident, not a random act of violence.

Anyone with information about this case, including details about the pickup truck in question, is asked to contact Sheriff’s Detective Juan Galindo at (559) 600-8215 or Crime Stoppers at (559) 498-7867, www.valleycrimestoppers.org. You will remain anonymous and may be eligible for a $2,000 cash reward. Reference case #24-2548.
