Jim Costa, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing California’s 21st district, has recently taken to social media to highlight his legislative initiatives and community engagement efforts. On April 7, 2025, Costa shared a series of tweets covering topics from wildfire prevention to reproductive health and community involvement.

On April 7, 2025, Costa announced the Fire Safe Electrical Corridors Act, aimed at "streamlin[ing] the process of removing hazardous vegetation near power lines." The objective is to enhance the prevention and combat of wildfires across California. Costa expressed his pride in introducing the legislation alongside @RepCarbajal, @RepDavidValadao, and @RepBrianFitz.

In another tweet on the same day, Costa addressed reproductive health issues, stating that "Every woman in the Central Valley and across the country deserves access to reproductive health, regardless of background." He criticized the Trump Administration's decision to freeze Title X funding, emphasizing the risk it poses to reproductive healthcare access. Costa joined his colleagues in addressing these concerns to the Administration.

Later that day, Costa reminded his constituents of an upcoming Medicaid Telephone Town Hall. Scheduled for the following day, Costa encouraged participation, saying, "Don’t miss your chance to join the conversation and ask your questions." He expressed eagerness to engage with the community through this platform.
