Rep. Jim Costa, representing California’s 21st District in the U.S. Congress, has recently shared updates concerning agricultural initiatives and achievements within his district via several tweets. These messages reflect his ongoing advocacy for nutritional programs, recognition of notable contributors to local agriculture, and encouragement of rising legal talents in the community.

On March 31, 2025, Rep. Jim Costa emphasized the importance of dairy in a balanced diet, highlighting the nutritional deficiencies many families face. "Dairy is essential for strong bones and healthy outcomes. Yet, too many families lack access to these nutrients. That's why, alongside my colleagues @RepLangworthy, @amyklobuchar and @RogerMarshallMD, I introduced the Dairy Nutrition Incentive Program Act of 2025. This vital".

As Women's History Month was recognized, Costa paid tribute to a prominent figure in local agriculture. On April 1, 2025, he tweeted, "This #WomensHistoryMonth, I’m proud to honor Tricia Blattler, Executive Director of the Tulare County Farm Bureau. For nearly two decades, she has championed Valley agriculture, advocating for farmers & their interests. She keeps our Valley's agriculture strong!"

On the same day, Costa congratulated a local resident achieving professional success in law enforcement. He tweeted, "Congratulations to Sophia Park on becoming Tulare County’s newest Deputy District Attorney! As the youngest to pass the California Bar Exam, her success showcases hard work and determination. Proud to see such talent in the Valley!"
