Representative Jim Costa, a long-serving member of the U.S. Congress representing California's 21st District, recently shared a series of updates on Twitter. These posts highlight his ongoing legislative efforts, views on international matters, and acknowledgment of local leaders.

On March 28, 2025, Costa emphasized the significance of the FRIDGE Act, noting its potential to enhance agricultural exports by building critical refrigeration infrastructure. He stated, "The FRIDGE Act would build critical refrigeration infrastructure, helping Valley farmers export world-class grapes, almonds, citrus, and dairy without spoilage. Proud to co-lead this bipartisan effort with @RepCarbajal, @RepFeenstra, and @RepMann!"

The following day, on March 29, 2025, Costa addressed the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh, where over 120,000 Armenians were displaced a year prior. In his post, he urged U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio to enforce Section 907 of the FREEDOM Support Act to ban military aid to Azerbaijan, as he remarked, "A year after Azerbaijan displaced over 120,000 Armenians from Nagorno-Karabakh, aggression persists. I urge Secretary of State Marco Rubio to enforce Section 907 of the FREEDOM Support Act to ban U.S. military aid to Azerbaijan. We must hold Azerbaijan's government accountable."

In his third tweet, also on March 29, 2025, Costa acknowledged Mindy Casto, Fresno's first female Chief of Police, during Women's History Month. She was commended for her dedication to public safety, with Costa noting, "This #WomensHistoryMonth, I’m proud to recognize Mindy Casto, Fresno's first female Chief of Police. From Deputy Chief to leading the department, Chief Casto has shown unwavering dedication to public safety. Thank you for keeping our city safe!"
