Fresno County issued the following announcement on Nov 25.
Fresno County Supervisor, Sal Quintero, has announced new staff members in his office to help support the collective needs of the County and the communities of District 3. Effective Monday, November 30, District 3 Director, Ari Martinez, will assume the role of Chief of Staff for Supervisor Quintero while longtime Fresno County employee, Rocky Vang, will join the office as District Director.
“I am pleased to welcome Ari and Rocky to their new roles helping to represent the residents and communities of District 3,” says Supervisor Quintero. “Both are dedicated public servants with valuable experience that will only serve to benefit the County and those who we represent. I am proud to have them on the District 3 team.”
Martinez has served with District 3 since Supervisor Quintero took office in January of 2017. He has been instrumental working with constituents, stakeholders and County departments to deliver necessary services and address critical needs in central Fresno County.
Vang joins the District 3 office following 5 years of service as a Community Relations Analyst with the Fresno County Public Library where he was responsible for media relations, marketing and community outreach on behalf of the library system. Vang has served with the County since 2003, holding staff positions with the library and the Department of Social Services.
