On February 15, 2025, Rep. Jim Costa extended his congratulations to Mindy Casto for her appointment as Chief of the Fresno Police Department. He expressed his eagerness to collaborate with Chief Casto to ensure the safety and well-being of Fresno residents, wishing her success in her new role. Later that day, Costa highlighted the significance of propane in agricultural operations such as milking parlors and irrigation engines. He announced his co-leadership with Rep.
