1.5 percent of Fresno City College students played sports on university teams in 2017-2018

In 2017-2018, 1.5 percent of Fresno City College students participated in collegiate sports, according to data made available by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES).

Fresno City College has a total student body of 24,366 students, of which 54 percent are women and 46 percent are men. Of these students, 242 men and 131 women represented the school by participating in one or more of the sports with teams at the school.

This total does not include students playing intramural sports.

According to NCES, 8.7 percent of students enrolled at institutions of higher education with sports teams were on teams.

The sports at Fresno City College with the most participants are football (78), soccer (68) and track and field, outdoor (37).
