On April 6, 2025, Costa highlighted his support for educational reforms, emphasizing the importance of inclusive education. He expressed his commitment by announcing his co-sponsorship of the IDEA Full Funding Act, stating, "Every child deserves quality education, including those with disabilities. Many families in the Valley struggle to receive adequate support. I'm proud to co-sponsor the IDEA Full Funding Act to ensure disabled students receive the opportunities and resources they deserve." This act aims to provide equal educational opportunities for students with disabilities.

Later on the same day, Costa informed his constituents about an upcoming event related to healthcare. He posted, "In 2 DAYS! I will be hosting my Medicaid Telephone Town Hall. Make sure to mark your calendars and spread the word with your neighbors. I look forward to answering your questions" This was an invitation for community engagement, indicating Costa’s intent to address community concerns directly.

In another post on April 6, he celebrated the accomplishments of a local high school student. Costa congratulated Samuel Ruiz-Macias of Central East High, remarking, "Congratulations to Central East High’s Samuel Ruiz-Macias—valedictorian, class president, and now accepted to 15 universities, including Harvard, Yale, Columbia, and UPenn. A bright future ahead #ValleyProud" Samuel’s achievements were acknowledged as a testament to local talent and promise.
