On January 23, 2025, Rep. Costa addressed President Trump's executive order concerning mass deportations. He expressed concern that such actions would "tear families apart and hurt our economy." Costa emphasized the importance of supporting farm workers, stating that they are crucial to agriculture and community wellbeing.
