Jim Costa introduces national plan for epilepsy as co-chair of caucus

Rep. Jim Costa, currently serving California’s 21st district in the U.S. Congress, has been actively engaging with his constituents and promoting initiatives through social media. As Co-chair of the Congressional Epilepsy Caucus, he recently announced a significant development in epilepsy care.

On December 3, 2024, Rep. Costa introduced the National Plan for Epilepsy via social media. "As Co-chair of the Congressional Epilepsy Caucus, I'm pleased to introduce the National Plan for Epilepsy! This important initiative aims to develop new treatments and seek a cure, representing a crucial advancement in ensuring proper care for people with epilepsy."

In another post on the same day, Rep. Costa discussed his engagement with local farmers regarding agricultural policies. "Had a productive conversation on agriculture's future and Farm Bill updates with our Valley's dedicated farmers. Their insights are vital as we advocate for the farming community driving our region’s success."

On December 4, 2024, Rep. Costa offered assistance to constituents needing help with federal agencies. "Need help with a federal agency? My office can assist with the IRS, Social Security, or any other federal agency and help cut the red tape." He provided contact information for those seeking assistance.
