Deputies arrest suspect in church burglary; stolen items recovered

Deputies have apprehended Guadalupe Corrales, a 38-year-old resident of Fresno. He faces charges of burglary, possession of stolen property, and probation violation. Currently, he is held without bail.

The arrest occurred around 7:00 am on Wednesday when deputies conducting security patrols in Courthouse Park observed suspicious behavior. Corrales was seen near the Superior Courthouse carrying various electronic items including a video camera, laptop, audio interface, headphones, and tripod. Upon investigation, deputies discovered that these electronics had been reported stolen from a church located near N. Abby Street and E. McKenzie Ave in Fresno.

Following this discovery, deputies coordinated with Fresno Police to ensure the return of the stolen items to the church.
