Property crimes detectives are investigating two robberies in the Easton area. The connection between the two incidents remains uncertain.
The first robbery occurred on October 8th, shortly before 9:00 pm at Adams Market located at 7013 S Cedar Ave. Two men arrived on a motorcycle and entered the store wearing all black clothing. One suspect wore a motorcycle helmet, while the other donned an Ushanka-style winter hat. The man in the fur hat pointed a handgun with an extended magazine at the clerk and demanded money. After taking cash and two bottles of liquor, both suspects left on the motorcycle.
The second incident took place on October 15th around midnight at Valero gas station, located at 6012 S. Elm Avenue. As employees were locking up, two men approached them dressed in all black with masks covering their faces. One mask resembled a paintball mask. They demanded that the workers open the store, but when they could not comply, one suspect armed with a gun ordered them to hand over their wallets and a cell phone. Fearing for their safety, the employees complied and both suspects fled.
