Bethel Lutheran Church recently issued the following announcement.
You are invited to worship and celebrate the REASON FOR THE SEASON at our joyful candlelight service and choir concert on Christmas Eve, Thursday, Dec. 24th, at 6:00 p.m. The service will be on YouTube, and we'll send you the link tomorrow.
How to get ready: Gather a candle for each member of your household and something to light them with. Set the table with the communion elements of bread and wine or juice (if you have only one of the elements, that's fine; the Lutheran Church teaches that the full benefit of Christ's presence is received through each element). As we worship online, we'll join in Holy Communion and welcome the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the Light of the World.
