The FCSO has announced the commencement of the 2024 Off Highway Motor Vehicle grant application, open for public comment from March 5, 2024, through May 4, 2024. The Sheriff’s Office is seeking state funding to support law enforcement activities on Off Highway Trails.
According to The State of California, the annual OHV Grants Program provides financial assistance to various eligible agencies and organizations, including federal, city, county, and nonprofit entities. This funding aims to aid in the development, maintenance, operation, expansion, and support of well-managed and high-quality OHV recreation areas, roads, and trails.
