It was my honor to nominate Miiko for her distinguished service to Fresno County and the nation. This award is well deserved.”
"Receiving this award is not just a recognition of my work, but a reminder of the courage and resilience of the survivors of abuse. It is an honor to walk alongside them, amplify the voices and witness in their journey. I dedicate this award to their bravery and strength." said Miiko Anderson.
Miiko Anderson serves as a Senior Deputy District Attorney in the Office of the District Attorney for the County of Fresno. As a Senior Prosecuting Attorney and Certified Criminal Law Specialist, she has tried and convicted some of the most egregious human traffickers and violent offenders.
