California State Assembly adjourned in the memory of El Dorado County Sheriff's Office Deputy Brian Ishmael. The 80 Members from across the state joined me in a moment of silence to pay tribute to Deputy Ishmael for his Sacrifice. To Don, Kim and Katie Ishmael, our hearts break for your family.
The downtown bell in Placerville has been rung. His body has been draped with our nation’s flag. The community has come together, they have mourned and laid Deputy Ishmael to rest for a final time. But his family and friends will never forget the tragic loss of their son, brother, husband, father, and friend.
