The UNLV Rebels secured a 13-8 win over the Grand Canyon Antelopes in their NCAA Division I baseball matchup Friday, April 10, at 6 p.m. Former Clovis North High School standout Jayden Hertel contributed to the victory.
The game was played at Brazell Field at GCU Ballpark and marked the first meeting between the teams this season.
Hertel notched three hits in four at-bats, scored once, tallied four runs batted in, and drew one walk.
UNLV will face the Antelopes again on Saturday, April 11, at Brazell Field at GCU Ballpark.
