Rep. Jim Costa, representing California's 21st district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared a series of tweets discussing various issues and initiatives. Costa has been serving in Congress since 2005 after replacing Cal Dooley. He previously held positions in the California State Assembly and Senate.

On February 11, 2025, Rep. Jim Costa tweeted about his appearance on KSEE24 Sunday Morning Matters, where he discussed his return to the House Agriculture Committee and efforts to support Valley farmers. He stated: "It was great to be on @KSEE24 Sunday Morning Matters to discuss my return to the House Agriculture Committee, and efforts to protect Valley farmers." Costa emphasized his commitment to fighting for policies that benefit farmers and the San Joaquin Valley.

Later that day, Costa addressed concerns regarding federal workforce policies under former President Trump. In a tweet posted at 19:59 UTC, he expressed criticism of Trump's approach: "The federal workforce keeps our country running—from TSA agents protecting our skies to scientists safeguarding public health." He accused Trump's 'buyout' plan of prioritizing special interests over essential services.

In another tweet posted shortly after at 20:00 UTC, Costa highlighted the importance of supporting community colleges like SCCCD with necessary resources. He stated: "Now, more than ever, it’s crucial that we provide community colleges like @SCCCD with the resources they need to deliver affordable, high-quality education to our students."
