The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office has reduced its active search efforts for Tiffany Slaton, a camper who went missing in the Shaver Lake and Huntington Lake area. The decision follows five days of intensive searching by the Search and Rescue (SAR) team, covering approximately 600 square miles from Mono Hot Springs to Wishon Reservoir and beyond. Despite these efforts, no trace of Slaton or her belongings has been found.

Slaton was last reportedly seen on April 24th near the old Cressman’s General Store. Detectives are now requesting that anyone with video footage from around that date come forward. This includes recordings from surveillance cameras and dash cams, especially those capturing areas along Auberry Road and past Pine Ridge School leading to Highway 168.

Originally from Jeffersonville, Georgia, Slaton embarked on her solo camping trip on April 20th, maintaining regular contact with her family until then. When she failed to communicate after April 20th, her family filed a missing person report on April 29th.

Slaton was traveling with specific gear: a green/gray tent, a blue and black “Lectric” electric bicycle, and a red stroller—none of which have been recovered.

To assist in identifying Slaton, the Sheriff’s Office has released video footage of her recorded on April 8th in Santa Cruz as she headed toward Fresno County.

Despite scaling back SAR operations, the Sheriff’s Office continues its investigation as new leads arise. Anyone with information about Slaton’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office at (559) 600-3111 using case number 25-4458.
