On Friday, March 7, former San Joaquin Memorial High School standout Max Mendes’ current college team, the Cal State Northridge Matadors, lost 4-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos.

The game took place at Caesar Uyesaka Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Gauchos this season.

The Matadors’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 3:05 p.m. at Caesar Uyesaka Stadium against UC Santa Barbara Gauchos.
