On Friday, April 18, former Central East High School standout Arissah Garza’s current college team, the SIU Edwardsville Cougars, won 16-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Western Illinois Leathernecks.

The game took place at Mary Ellen McKee Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Leathernecks this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 19 at 12 p.m. at Mary Ellen McKee Stadium against Western Illinois Leathernecks.
