On Monday, April 7, former Herbert Hoover High School standout Matthew Toops’ current college team, the Charleston Golden Eagles, won 1-0 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Glenville State Pioneers.

The game took place at Welch Athletic Complex. This was their third matchup against the Pioneers this season.

The Golden Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Monday, April 7 at 3:30 p.m. at Welch Athletic Complex against Glenville State Pioneers.
