On Wednesday, April 2, former San Joaquin Memorial High School standout Max Mendes’ current college team, the Cal State Northridge Matadors, won 11-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the San Francisco Dons.

The game took place at Benedetti Diamond. This was their first matchup against the Dons this season.

The Matadors’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 6 p.m. at Robert J. Hiegert Field against Cal State Fullerton Titans.
