On Tuesday, March 17, at 3 p.m., the La Verne Leopards fell 3-2 in an NCAA Division III softball contest against the Minnesota Morris Cougars, featuring former Roosevelt High School standout Jaidynn Alvarez on the roster.
Campus West served as the venue for this competition, marking the Leopards’ second meeting with the Cougars this season. The teams also played earlier on Tuesday, March 17, when La Verne was also defeated 3-2.
Alvarez surrendered two earned runs over 1.1 innings, tallying two walks and one strikeout.
The Leopards are slated to play their next game at Campus West on Saturday, March 21, at 12 p.m. against the Whitworth Pirates.
