On Thursday, April 3, former Central East High School standout Kamielle Powell’s current college team, the Academy of Art Urban Knights, lost 7-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Azusa Pacific Cougars.

The game took place at Cougar Softball Complex. This was their fifth matchup against the Cougars this season.

The Urban Knights’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 25 at 12 p.m. at Mission Blue Field against Concordia Irvine Golden Eagles.
