Rep. Jim Costa, U.S. Congressman representing California’s 21st district since 2005, recently shared updates and greetings on his social media accounts, including details about a visit to Orange Cove High School and messages recognizing community celebrations and milestones.
On April 14, 2026, Costa posted about his engagement with students: “Last week, I had the opportunity to visit seniors in government classes at Orange Cove High School. We talked about what a day in the life of a Member of Congress really looks like, the importance of our democracy, and I had the chance to answer some great questions. It’s https://t.co/KzHkW5o79B”.
Later that same day, Costa acknowledged a military anniversary: “Today, we celebrate the 78th Birthday of the Air Force Reserve. For nearly eight decades, these dedicated servicemembers have played a vital role in protecting our nation and defending our freedoms. Costa has served in Congress since replacing Cal Dooley in 2005. He previously served in both chambers of California’s legislature from 1978 through 2002. Born in Fresno in 1952 and currently residing there, Costa is an alumnus of California State University, Fresno.
