Jim Costa, a longstanding member of the U.S. Congress representing California’s 21st District since 2005, has recently shared his perspectives on various political issues through social media. Known for his extensive career in public service, including roles in the California State Assembly and Senate, Costa continues to engage with constituents and policymakers on pressing national matters.

On March 12, 2025, Costa expressed concern over fiscal policies under the current administration. He stated that “Congress cannot give a blank check to President Trump and Musk while cutting services that Americans count on.”

Later that day, Costa emphasized his commitment to addressing homelessness. He tweeted about meeting with key figures from the Fresno Housing Authority: “Tackling homelessness remains a top priority, and we must continue vital efforts to ensure more families have access to safe, stable housing.” This meeting included discussions with Tyrone Williams and Bianca Mendoza-Navarro.

Costa also criticized educational policy directions taken by President Trump. In another tweet from March 12, he argued that “President Trump is prioritizing billionaires over kids,” expressing concerns about potential impacts on public education such as overcrowded classrooms due to budget cuts.
