Rep. Jim Costa, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing California’s 21st district since 2005, recently shared several updates on his activities and engagements through social media. On March 10, 2025, Rep. Costa celebrated the contributions of the Reyes family to education. “Since 2016, the Reyes family has provided scholarships to support low-income & first-generation graduates of Roosevelt HS in Fresno.” He expressed his honor at celebrating their impact over the weekend and congratulated Ana Celia de Alba and Lupita Lomeli on receiving the 2025 Legacy Family Award.

Later that day, Rep. Costa reported on a meeting with local officials from Visalia. “Had a great meeting with Visalia Mayor Brett Taylor and Councilmember Liz Wynn to discuss key issues impacting @CityofVisalia.” He mentioned looking forward to collaborating to support local families and businesses.
