An investigation by the Fresno Police Department, in collaboration with the Central California Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, resulted in the arrest of three Fresno High School students for sexual assault against a child.
On April 4, 2025, a school resource officer learned of an explicit video circulating among students. The video depicted four boys sexually assaulting a 10-year-old. Detectives subsequently identified the suspects, all aged 14.
On April 10, police apprehended three 14-year-old students at Fresno High School. The fourth suspect was found to have relocated to Mexico.
School officials were informed of the arrests and immediately contacted the suspects’ parents or guardians.
The three boys are now in juvenile hall, facing several felony charges, which include lewd acts with a child under 14, lewd acts with force or fear, oral copulation with a child under 14, and possession of child pornography.
