Homicide detectives from the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office are seeking public assistance in locating Cody Robert Plasencia, 28, in connection with a homicide investigation dating back to 2017. Detectives have recently acquired new information and are pursuing leads related to the case. While Cody is not considered a suspect, authorities wish to speak with him.
The public is urged to provide any information regarding Cody’s whereabouts by contacting Detective Jose Diaz at either 559-600-8204 or 559-448-7089. Reference should be made to case number 17-1431.
The incident under investigation occurred on January 29, 2017, when Huron Police officers responded to a drive-by shooting at 16735 14th Street in Huron around 9:40 am. Upon arrival, officers found Francisco Acosta, aged 68, inside the living room with a gunshot wound. Acosta was pronounced dead at the scene.
