A man was killed and a woman injured in a shooting early Sunday morning at the Flamingo Mobile Home Park, located near Highway 99 and Central Avenue in Fresno. The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office identified the deceased as 19-year-old Nehemiah Gonzalez of Fresno.
According to the sheriff’s office, dispatchers received reports of gunfire at approximately 6:45 am. Deputies who arrived at the scene found both victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Gonzalez died from his injuries, while the woman was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Investigators determined that the shooting occurred outdoors on a driveway within the mobile home park property. Authorities have not yet established a motive for the incident and no suspects have been identified.
“This marks the 14 homicide investigation the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office has conducted in 2025. Four of these cases originated in smaller cities and their police departments requested our office take over the investigations,” according to information provided by officials.
