In a tweet posted at 02:10:31 UTC, Costa discussed the progress of a measure moving to the House Budget Committee for final reconciliation. He expressed his commitment to opposing cuts that could affect food security, stating, “Food security is national security, and we must treat it that way.”

Later that day, at 20:25:08 UTC, Costa announced the passage of the Fire Safe Electrical Corridors Act in the House as part of his bipartisan efforts to protect communities. He highlighted collaboration with fellow representatives @RepCarbajal, @RepDavidValadao, and @RepBrianFitz in advancing this legislation.

Born in Fresno in 1952, Costa graduated from California State University, Fresno in 1974 with a BA.
