Assemblyman David Tangipa recently used his social media platform to highlight community initiatives and local achievements. Through a series of posts, Tangipa shared information about charitable opportunities, participation in national commemorative events, and support for local sports teams.
On December 12, 2025, Tangipa announced the launch of a new donation initiative at River Park: “The @GivingMachine in River Park is officially open! Visit the machine near REI to give the gift of clothes, a meal, a toy, and more to a family in need this holiday season!” The Giving Machine is an interactive vending machine that allows users to donate items such as food, clothing, or toys to families in need during the holiday season.
A day later on December 13, 2025, Tangipa highlighted his team’s involvement in honoring military service members: “Team Tangipa was honored to participate in National Wreaths Across America Day to honor all those who have served our Nation. Thank you to all the families who have served and continue to protect our country.” National Wreaths Across America Day is an annual event held across the United States where volunteers place wreaths on veterans’ graves as a tribute.
Later that same day, Tangipa expressed support for Sonora High School’s athletic accomplishments: “Sonora High is competing for a second straight CIF Title! Go Wildcats!!” The California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) oversees high school athletics competitions throughout California.
Tangipa serves as an Assemblyman and frequently shares updates regarding local events and civic engagement through his official channels.
