Assemblyman David Tangipa, who represents a district in California’s Central Valley, recently posted several updates on his social media account highlighting local events and commenting on state water policy.
On December 2, 2025, Tangipa acknowledged the efforts of a local organization by posting: “It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Thank you to the @ClovisChamber for bringing the Christmas spirit to Clovis with the Christmas tree lighting ceremony! Be sure to visit the Civic Center and see this beautiful tree!”
The following day, December 3, 2025, he commented on statewide water management issues: “When all reservoirs in California are above 100% of historical averages, problems with water supply are the direct result of bad policies.” In recent years, California has experienced fluctuations in reservoir levels due to both drought and periods of heavy rainfall. The state’s complex water distribution system and regulatory framework have been subjects of ongoing debate among policymakers and stakeholders.
Later that same day, Tangipa congratulated a local educational institution: “Congratulations to @ClovisCollege on celebrating their 10 Year Anniversary! Thank you for serving the Central Valley and providing unique education programs and incredible pathways to success! I am thrilled to celebrate this milestone (and many more to come) alongside you,” Clovis College serves students in Fresno County and has marked a decade since its founding.
Tangipa’s posts reflect engagement with community events as well as broader policy concerns affecting his constituents in California’s Central Valley.
