On Sunday, March 9, former Central East High School standout Arissah Garza’s current college team, the SIU Edwardsville Cougars, won 10-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Morehead State Eagles.

The game took place at University Field. This was their third matchup against the Eagles this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 at 12 p.m. at Cougar Field against Tennessee State Tigers.
