On Saturday, March 22, former Clovis West High School standout Amelia Morales’ current college team, the Cal State East Bay Pioneers, won 2-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Humboldt State Lumberjacks.

The game took place at Bear River Recreation Center. This was their fourth matchup against the Lumberjacks this season.

The Pioneers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 1 p.m. at Pioneer Softball Field against Stanislaus State Warriors.
